myCRMSIM Twilio Integration & Setup Guide
Learn step-by-step how to configure and integrate Twilio numbers with your myCRMSIM platform, assign numbers to sub-accounts/users, and set up message routing for high-deliverability SMS.
- An active myCRMSIM account.
- An active Twilio account with purchased/active phone numbers.
- Access to your Twilio Dashboard (Account SID & Auth Token).
- Log in to your myCRMSIM Dashboard.
- From the left sidebar menu, navigate to Settings > Twilio.
- Click the Add Twilio Config button in the top-right corner.
- Enter your Twilio API credentials:
- Account SID: Paste your Twilio Account SID.
- Auth Token: Paste your Twilio Auth Token.
- Click Save to store your configuration.

- Go to Devices in the left sidebar menu and click the Twilio Numbers tab.
- Click the blue Sync Numbers button to pull your active numbers directly from your Twilio account into myCRMSIM.

3. Once synced, click theĀ InstructionsĀ button (or view the popup).
4. Copy the Webhook URLĀ provided in the popup modal (e.g., [https://...amazonaws.com/](https://...amazonaws.com/)).
5. Open yourĀ Twilio ConsoleĀ in a separate tab:
- Go toĀ Phone NumbersĀ >Ā ManageĀ >Ā Active Numbers.
- Click on your specific phone number to open its settings.
- Scroll down toĀ Messaging Configuration.
- UnderĀ "A message comes in", selectĀ Webhook.
- Paste the copied myCRMSIM URL into the input field and set the HTTP method toĀ HTTP POST.
6. ClickĀ SaveĀ on the Twilio page to finalize webhook configuration.

- In the myCRMSIM left sidebar menu, click Subaccount SIM.
- Locate the sub-account you want to configure.
- In the Twilio column, click the pink plus (+) button next to the sub-account.
- An Assign Twilio Device modal will appear:
- Click + Assign new Twilio Device.
- Select User: Choose the specific user from the dropdown.
- Select Device: Choose the desired Twilio phone number.
- Click Assign.
š”Ā Note on Multiple Users & Numbers:Ā You can assign multiple Twilio numbers to different users within a single sub-account (e.g., User A ā Twilio Number 1, User B ā Twilio Number 2). If a user does not have a user-specific number assigned, the default Workspace assignment will apply.

- After assigning your Twilio numbers, navigate to the Message Routing configuration for the sub-account.
- Set Twilio as your Primary / First Priority channel so outgoing messages default to your Twilio number.
- Configure optional fallbacks if needed (e.g., WhatsApp, iMessage, Android SMS).
- Click Save to store your routing configuration.

- Open the required GHL Sub-Account.
- Go to Settings.
- Navigate to Phone Numbers > Additional Setting.
- Set the Conversation Provider to Twilio.
- Make sure the Twilio number is correctly connected/assigned to the GHL sub-account.
- Save the configuration.
š”Ā Note:Ā If the GHL sub-account is using Twilio for conversations,Ā Twilio must be selected as the Conversation ProviderĀ so that SMS conversations are properly routed through Twilio.
