Failed Message Email Notifications

Overview

A key feature in the new dashboard is the ability to receive email alerts when a device fails to send a message due to issues like:


  • Device powered off

  • SIM card failure

  • Message delivery errors


Procedure


A. Enable Email Notifications for Device Failures

  1. Navigate to the Settings section in the new dashboard.

  2. Locate the Device Alerts or Notifications option.

  3. Enable Email Notifications for Device Failures.

  4. Choose who receives alerts:

    • Agency Admin only (recommended if you manage client devices directly).

    • Agency Admin + Sub-Account (ideal if the client has direct access to/manage the device).

  5. Save your changes.


Recommendations

  • Only notify sub-accounts (clients) if they are managing or have access to the physical device.

  • Review your notification preferences regularly to ensure they align with your operational responsibilities.
