HubSpot Integration Setup Guide (myCRMSIM)

Overview

This guide explains how to connect HubSpot with myCRMSIM and create an automated workflow to send SMS messages when a new inbound message is received.

Prerequisites
Before starting, make sure you have:
  • A HubSpot account
  • HubSpot Sales Hub Professional Plan ($90/month) enabled.
  • Access to myCRMSIM
  • A connected devices (SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, RCS, or Twilio)
  • Correct Location ID for your subaccount
Step 1: Integration of HubSpot in myCRMSIM
  1. Go to the Integrations page in myCRMSIM
  2. Scroll to HubSpot and click Connect
  3. Select your HubSpot account and continue
  4. Complete the authorization process

✅ HubSpot will now be successfully connected
Step 2: Verify Companies in HubSpot

    CRM → Companies

    1. Open your HubSpot dashboard
    2. From the left sidebar, go to:
      CRM → Companies
    3. Ensure your companies are visible
    4. There should be at least one company listed.
    5. If no company is available, please add one by clicking the Add Company button.
    6. Also, make sure you are using the correct HubSpot account.
      Step 3: Connect HubSpot Location in myCRMSIM


      1. Navigate to Subaccount SIM page
      2. Click Connect Location
      3. Search and select your HubSpot company
      4. Click Toggle on "Connected"
      Now:
      • The subaccount will appear in the list
      • Attach a device (SMS, iMessage, WhatsApp, RCS, or Twilio)
      • Set your "Message Routing"
        Step 4: Create Workflow in HubSpot
        1. Go to HubSpot dashboard
        2. Navigate to:
          Automation → Workflows
        3. Click Create Workflow
        4. Select Start from Scratch
        1: Set Start Trigger
        1. Click Set up triggers
        2. Select:
          Custom Events → External Events
        3. Search for:
          myCRMSIM Inbound Message Received
        4. Choose:
          myCRMSIM Inbound Message Received
            5. Click Next
         6. Eligible Records
        • Click Next. 

         7. Settings

        • Enable the Re-enroll toggle to allow contacts to enter the workflow again after completing it.
        • Click Save and continue 
          2: Add Action – Send SMS via myCRMSIM
          Configure Send SMS Action
          1. In the workflow, click + Add Action
          2. Select myCRMSIM → Send SMS
          Fill the following fields:
          1. Phone Number
          • Click the field
          • Select a data token (Phone Number)
          2. Location ID
          • Enter your connected subaccount Location ID
          3. Message Text
          Example:
          Thank you for your message. We will get back to you shortly.
          4. Attachments (Optional)
          • Add attachment URLs
          • Use comma-separated URLs if adding multiple attachments
          5. Name Your Workflow
          • Enter a suitable workflow name for easy identification
          6. Save Workflow
          • Click Save
          7. Review & Turn On
          • Click Review and Turn On to activate the workflow

          ✅ Your workflow is now active.

          Step 6: Verify Workflow Trigger

          When someone sends a message to your connected myCRMSIM number, the workflow should automatically trigger for that contact’s phone number.

          The configured SMS response will then be sent automatically through the workflow.
          Step 5: Check Workflow Execution (Action Logs)
          How to View Logs
          1. Go to:
            Automation → Workflows
          2. Open your workflow
          3. Click View → Action Logs
          What You Will See
          • Contact details (phone number)
          • Trigger event: Inbound Message Received
          • Action: Send SMS
          • Status: Success / Failed
          Event DetailsClick any log entry to view:
          • Execution time
          • Action performed
          • Status
          • Server response
          Final Result
          ✅ When a new inbound message is received in myCRMSIM:
          • HubSpot workflow is triggered automatically
          • SMS is sent to the selected contact
