Spintext Action Setup Guide in myCRMSIM
Step-by-Step Guide to Use Spintext Action in HighLevel Workflow
This guide explains how to set up and use the mySMSGateway Spintext Action inside a HighLevel workflow. Spintext allows you to write multiple message variations in one text format, and the system automatically selects one version when sending the message.
✅ Requirements
Before starting, make sure you have:
- A myCRMSIM account
- A connected sub-account
- A device attached to the sub-account
- Access to your HighLevel workflow builder
- A valid messaging device such as SMS, WhatsApp, iMessage, RCS, or Twilio
- Make sure your conversation provider is set to “mySMSGateway App SMS, WhatsApp, and iMessage”
Step 1: Open Workflow in HighLevel
- Log in to your HighLevel sub-account.
- Go to Automation.
- Open Workflows.
- Create a new workflow or open an existing workflow.
- Add your required trigger.
- Example trigger:
- Customer Replied

Step 2: Add and Configure the Spintext Action
- In the workflow builder, click the + button.
- Search for:
- If the mySMSGateway_Spintext option is not appearing when you search for it, please go to your HighLevel Agency App Marketplace and open the Installed Apps section.
- You should see the myCRMSIM SMS, iMessage, and WhatsApp app there. Please Update the app. After Updating, the Spintext option should appear for you.


- Select the mySMSGateway Spintext action.
- In the Action Name field, enter a name for the action.
- Example:
- In the Text field, the Spintext action will use the text entered in the Text field as the message to be sent.
- Click Save Action.

Step 3: Add SMS Action and Insert Spintext Output
- After adding and saving the mySMSGateway Spintext action, click the + button below it.
- Search for: Send SMS
- Select the Send SMS action.
- In the SMS action panel, keep the action name as:
- Go to the Message field.
- Click the Tag icon inside the message field.
- A Custom Values dropdown will open.
- From the dropdown, select:
- After selecting it, click the Spintext action option:
- Then click:
- After selecting spinned_text, the Spintext output variable will be added inside the SMS message field.
- The variable should look like this:
- This variable will send the final generated Spintext message to the contact.
- Click Save Action.
Important Note:
- Do not manually type the Spintext message again in the SMS field.

Step 4: Rename, Publish, and Save the Workflow
- At the top of the workflow builder, click the workflow name.
- Rename the workflow clearly.
- Example workflow name: Spintext Testing
- After renaming the workflow, turn ON the Publish toggle.
- Make sure the workflow is not left in Draft mode.
- Click Save to save all workflow changes.

Step 5: Test the Workflow
- You can test it by sending an inbound message from a contact.
- When an inbound message is received, the workflow should trigger.
- The inbound message body should go into the Spintext Action through:
- The Spintext Action should process the message.
- The SMS action should send the final generated spintext message using:

🎯 Best Practices
- Make sure the sub-account has an active device attached before testing.
- Use the Tag icon to select values instead of typing variables manually.
- In the Spintext action, always use Message → Message Body.
- In the SMS action, always use the spinned_text output from the Spintext action.
- Keep the workflow Published and saved.
- Check workflow execution logs after testing.

Your Spintext workflow is now fully configured in HighLevel with myCRMSIM. When an inbound message is received, it will go into the Spintext action, process the message, and send the final spinned text back to the contact through the attached device.
