How to Install the Browser Extension for HighLevel Voice Notes
Overview

Step 1: Download the Extension
- Log in to your myCRMSIM account
- In the left sidebar, scroll down to Settings and click Resources
- You will see a resource titled "Browser Extension for HighLevel to enable voice notes"
- Click the blue Download button
- A ZIP file will begin downloading — you will see it appear in your browser's download bar
Step 2: Extract the Downloaded File
- Open your Downloads folder (on Mac: Finder → Downloads)
- Locate the downloaded ZIP file
- Double-click the ZIP file to extract it — this will create a new unzipped folder with the same name
Step 3: Open Chrome Extensions
- Open Google Chrome
- Click the three dots menu (⋮) in the top right corner of the browser
- Hover over Extensions in the dropdown
- Click Manage Extensions
Step 4: Load the Extension
- On the Chrome Extensions page, make sure Developer Mode is turned ON (toggle in the top right corner)
- Click the Load unpacked button in the top left
- A file picker window will open — navigate to your Downloads folder
- Select the extracted folder from Step 2 and click Select
- The extension "GHL Voice Notes" will now appear in your extensions list
Step 5: Activate the Extension in HighLevel
- Switch to your HighLevel (GHL) tab in the browser
- Refresh the page using the browser reload button
- After the page reloads, a microphone icon will appear inside the message input box
Step 6: Allow Microphone Access
- Click the microphone icon in the message input box
- A browser permission prompt will appear asking to use your microphone
- Click Allow while visiting the site
- The input box will switch to recording mode with a timer
- You are now ready to record and send voice notes directly inside HighLevel
