Drip Campaign Template

Use our custom drip campaign template for database reactivations to help randomise your messaging and timing to help keep your sim card from getting blocked.

🎯 Purpose:
To send mass SMS campaigns safely and conversationally using a drip-style workflow — without overwhelming your SIM, getting flagged by carriers, or annoying your contacts. ✅

🧠 Background (Why This Matters)
Sending large batches of SMS all at once can:

  • Burn out your SIM 😵‍💫

  • Get your messages flagged as spam 🚨

  • Lead to carrier issues and reduced deliverability 📉

That’s why this workflow uses drip mode, smart delays, and natural text breaks to keep your outreach human, compliant, and effective — even at scale.

🛠️ Prerequisites

✔️ myCRMSIM snapshot installed
✔️ Access to workflows and contact lists in HighLevel
✔️ A clear SMS campaign message or offer - use our SMS Message Buddy
✔️ Drip mode understanding (1 message per minute = safe max rate)

Step-by-Step Instructions

📌 Step 1: Find the “Drip Campaign Template” Workflow

Inside your myCRMSIM workflows folder, open the template labeled:

📂 Drip Campaign Template

🔄 Note: This workflow has no trigger by default — so you can start it however you prefer:

  • Manually add contacts

  • Start from another workflow

  • Use a tag or pipeline stage, etc.

🧩 Step 2: Enable Drip Mode (This is Critical)

At the top of the workflow:

  • Add all contacts to a "drip mode" step (Set to 1 per minute — don’t go faster! ❌)

  • This ensures contacts are added to the workflow one-by-one instead of all at once

💡 This protects your SIM from overload and avoids bulk-sending red flags.

🛠 Step 3: Workflow Setup Details

Here’s what happens inside the workflow:

  1. 👤 Assign contact to a user

  2. 📝 Add a note like:

“Added to drip campaign: [INSERT OFFER NAME]”

  3. 🏷️ Optional: Add a tag for campaign tracking

  4. 📲 Send SMS #1

    “Hey {{contact.first_name}}, it’s {{user.full_name}} from {{location.name}} — just wanted to share something exciting…”

  5. ⏱ Wait a few seconds, then send SMS #2:

“We’re running an epic deal on [INSERT OFFER]. Want details?”

🎯 This split-message style feels more personal and less robotic.

  1. ⌛ Wait 48 hours, then:

    • Add back to drip mode

    • Wait 1 minute

    • Send SMS #3 (gentle follow-up):

      “Hey {{contact.first_name}}, it’s {{user.first_name}} again — just circling back on that offer…”

  2. ⏱ Wait a few seconds, then send SMS #4

“Let me know if you want the link! Happy to share 😊”

⚙️ Step 4: Use Smart Settings

In workflow Settings, make sure to:

✅ Enable “Stop on Response”

  • If someone replies, they’re removed from the campaign automatically 👏

✅ Set to Contact Time Zone

  • Schedule messages between 9:15 AM – 5:30 PM

  • Avoids sending too early or too late across different time zones

🌎 If you're running nationwide or across multiple time zones, this is critical to stay compliant and avoid annoying people.

📢 Final Notes

‣ Never send mass SMS without drip mode
‣ Use conversational breaks to increase reply rate
‣ Always use contact time zones for compliance
‣ You can clone this workflow and customize for multiple offers or segments

🙌 Pro Tip
You’re using a SIM, not paying per SMS — so don’t worry about sending multi-part texts. Focus on natural engagement, not message length.
