Advanced Database Reactivation Using Custom AI Code

🎯 Purpose:To send personalized SMS messages to old leads using AI-generated content and randomized delivery times — creating natural, human-like engagement that helps prevent SIM card flagging and increases response rates.

🧠 Background (Why This Matters)Most businesses blast out SMS messages at fixed times, with nearly identical wording. That’s a red flag for carriers — and it kills engagement too. This advanced method uses custom code + OpenAI GPTs to:

Randomize message content 💬Randomize delivery times ⏰Mimic real, human-like texting behavior 🙋‍♂️

It’s more advanced than our standard reactivation drip campaign, but it gives way more control and variety — making it a better choice for larger lists or seasoned marketers.

🛠️ Prerequisites✔️ You’ve installed the myCRMSIM Snapshot✔️ You’re comfortable editing workflows✔️ You have premium OpenAI actions enabled (0.01¢ per use)✔️ Your SIM card is warmed up and ready for outbound📎 Need help with warming up SIMs? Check the SIM Warm-Up section in our support docs.

✅ Step-by-Step Instructions

⚙️ Step 1: Prep Your Workflow

Open the advanced “Database Reactivation (GPT + Code)” workflow inside myCRMSIM.📂 Database Reactivation GPT RandomizerThis version uses:Drip mode deliveryGPT AI to generate randomized message contentCustom code to randomize time

🧮 Step 2: Set Contact Time Zone & Send Window

Inside workflow settings, define:🕒 Business Hours – e.g., 8AM to 6PM📅 Weekdays Only – prevent 2AM message disasters 😴🌎 Contact Time Zone – for local timing

🧪 Step 3: Customize the Delay Logic (Randomizer)

This part uses custom code to add 0–60 seconds randomly to each contact’s drip delay.

🔧 How to Set It:Copy the custom code from the “Wait” stepPaste it into a notepad to editAdjust the prompt to your local time zone (e.g., PST, EST, etc.)Use OpenAI to generate code with the prompt:“Give the current [Your Time Zone] date and time + a random number of seconds (1–60).”💡 AI will write the code. Don't worry if it looks different than our example — just test it.

💬 Step 4: Choose a Messaging Path (A or B)

There are two paths — use only ONE:

Path A – Two-Part Message (Recommended for Realism)

👋 Message 1:

Use GPT to send a short intro:Greets them by first nameMentions who’s messaging + your brand/locationTeases a new offer (no details or links!)⏱ Wait 3 Seconds

📢 Message 2:Follow-up message (new GPT prompt) asks if they want more info.Don’t repeat their nameDon’t give the offer yetKeep it short, human, and clear🔁 Great for simulating real back-and-forth texting behavior.

Path B – Single Message (Simpler)

Use GPT to send one concise message:

Soft introMentions a special deal (no details)Asks if they’d like a voucher or more info

🤖 Step 5: Configure GPT Prompts

Each GPT step needs a solid prompt. Examples:

📝 First Message Prompt (Intro):"Your job is to write the first part of a message for a database reactivation campaign. Greet the contact using their first name ({{contact.first_name}}), remind them who's reaching out ({{location.name}}), and say we have a great deal this month. Do not include links or specific details."

📝 Second Message Prompt (Follow-Up):"Now write a short follow-up to this message asking if they want more info. Don’t repeat their name or intro — keep it casual and engaging."

🔁 Step 6: Test Everything

Before going live:✅ Add test contacts✅ Watch execution logs✅ Check if delays and messages fire correctly✅ Adjust prompt tone and content as needed

🧠 Tip: If you get duplicate names or messages that feel robotic, tweak your GPT prompts until it feels real.
