How to Create and Launch a DBR Campaign in myCRMSIM

Database Reactivation (DBR) helps you re-engage old or existing contacts with an offer, follow-up message, or appointment request.
With Simi, you can describe your DBR campaign, and Simi will collect the required information and prepare the agent, messages, and workflow for you.

Important: A single-contact test is required before launching the campaign to the full database.

What to Prepare
Before starting, have the following ready:
  • Your offer or promotion
  • Business/service details
  • Website or booking link
  • Message goal, such as getting a reply or booking an appointment
  • One or two test contact
  • The contact list for the campaign

Quickly Set Up a DBR Campaign with Simi

Step 1: Start the DBR Campaign
  • Log in to myCRMSIM and open Simi.
  • Enter a prompt such as: "Create a database reactivation campaign."

Simi will ask questions about your business, offer, message tone, follow-up, and campaign goal. Answer each question clearly.

Step 2: Review the Setup
Before confirming, review the information provided by Simi and make sure:
  • The offer and business details are correct.
  • The website or booking link is correct.
  • The message and follow-up are appropriate.
  • No incorrect information or placeholders remain.
Tell Simi to make any required changes before continuing.
Step 3: Create and Review the Agent
After confirmation, Simi will prepare:
  • AI Agent
  • Initial message
  • Follow-up messages
  • Workflow
Open the agent and workflow and review the setup before testing.
Step 4: Test with One Contact
A single-contact test is mandatory before the full launch.
  1. Select one internal/test contact.
  2. Start the test.
  3. Confirm the message is delivered correctly.
  4. Check the message, links, and formatting.
  5. Reply from the test contact if the campaign includes a reply flow.
  6. Confirm the agent and workflow respond correctly.
Verify that there are no duplicate messages, delivery issues, or workflow errors.
Do not launch the campaign to the full database until the single-contact test passes.
Step 5: Add Contacts and Launch
After the test passes:
  1. Select the contacts you want to reactivate.
  2. Remove any invalid or excluded contacts.
  3. Review the final contact count.
  4. Confirm the agent, workflow, message, and sending settings.
  5. Launch the campaign.
Step 6: Monitor the Campaign
After launch, monitor:
  • Message delivery
  • Contact replies
  • Follow-up messages
  • Appointments or conversions
  • Failed or duplicate messages
If you notice unexpected behavior, pause the campaign and review the workflow and logs.
Voice Input
Simi also supports voice input. After speaking your instructions, review the transcribed text carefully, especially:
  • Names
  • Phone numbers
  • Dates
  • Discounts
  • Website links
Quick Checklist

  • Business and offer details reviewed
  • Agent and workflow reviewed
  • Message reviewed
  • Single-contact test completed successfully
  • Final contact list verified
  • Campaign launched
  • Campaign monitored after launch
    Manual DBR Campaign Setup
    Step 1: Open Campaigns
    1. Log in to your myCRMSIM account.
    2. Open Campaigns from the left-hand menu.
    3. Click + New campaign in the top-right corner.
    4. On the New campaign page, select Create one for this campaign under the Agent section.
Step 2: Add Your Campaign Details
Complete the campaign information using your own business and offer details.
The example shown in the recording uses the following values:
    • Business name: Plant seller
    • Sent from (first name): PLANTIFY
    • Website (optional): app.mycrmsim.com
    • What the business does: Plant selling
    • The offer — and why now: 10% off
    • Offer ends (optional): 30 Oct
    • Roughly how many contacts?: 200
    • Qualifying questions after a yes (optional): Which other plant did you want to buy?
When entering the contact quantity, make sure the number is within your available credits. A campaign cannot be created if the contact quantity exceeds your available credits.
    Step 3: Configure Response Routing
Scroll down to the Response Routing section and select the options that match your campaign.
For the example campaign, the following settings are selected:
    • If they don't reply: Follow up — one or two gentle nudges a few days apart, plus a reminder before the offer ends
    • How should it close?: Book an appointment
    • Calendar to book onto: Uzair Khan - GohlghLevel
    • Closing message (optional): Awesome, thanks
At the bottom of the page, confirm the following settings:
    • Tone: Friendly
    • Agent name (optional): Plant Seller
    • Campaign name (optional): Plant Selling
    Click Create agent and continue.
The system will display a loading message similar to Building your agent... takes a minute or two. Wait for the agent to finish building.
Step 4: Review the Preview and Select the AI Model
After the agent is created, the system opens Step 2: Preview.
    1. Review the generated conversation preview.
    2. Review the automatically calculated pacing. Pacing is based on the number of contacts and the sending window. For example, the recording shows 200 contacts being sent at approximately one message every 75 seconds during the weekday sending window, which is roughly 39.4 contacts per day.
    3. Click Edit the agent.
    4. On the Edit Strategy screen, scroll to the AI Model section.
    5. Select your preferred AI model from the dropdown menu..
    6. Click Next > to review the conversation flow.
    7. Click Save & exit when the review is complete.
    8. Open Campaigns from the left-hand menu.
    9. Select the DBR campaign draft. In the example, the campaign is named DBR — Plant Seller.
Step 5: Take the Campaign Live
    1. Open the campaign draft.
    2. Click the Go live tab.
    3. Click the blue Go live button.
    4. Confirm by clicking Go live again in the confirmation window.
The system will then move to Step 4: Test.
The Go live confirmation includes an important notice: nothing will be sent until a contact has the campaign tag. The next step allows you to tag a small number of test contacts.
    Step 6: Send Test Messages
    1. In the Search contacts by name, phone or email... field, search for and select a contact. The recording uses UZAIR SAEED as an example.
    2. Select between 1 and 10 test contacts.
    3. Click Send test messages.
    4. Read the confirmation message carefully.
    5. Confirm by clicking Send test messages again.
    6. Click Continue to Launch the list after the test contacts are tagged.
Important: Test messages are real messages. Tagging a contact enrolls that contact in the campaign, and the automation may send the opening message during the next available sending window. Only select contacts who have approved the test.
The system may display a confirmation such as Tagged 2 contacts with dbr-10-off. The tag name may be different for your campaign.
Step 7: Import Your Contact List
The system will open Step 5: Launch the list.
    1. Click Import contacts.
    2. You will be redirected to the Contacts page, where the Bulk Import Contacts window will open.
    3. Click Click to upload or drag and drop the CSV file.
    4. Select the required CSV file from your device.
    5. Click Import.
    6. After the import is complete, use the Filter Contacts panel on the right to verify that the contacts were imported correctly.
For example, you can filter by Custom Field, select whatsapp, and choose Is not empty.
Step 8: Tag the Contact List
    1. Return to Campaigns and open the DBR campaign.
    2. Click Tag your list.
    3. You will be redirected to the Contacts page.
    4. Use the Filter Contacts panel to locate the contacts for this campaign.
    5. Filter by the campaign tag. For example, select Tag, choose Is, and enter dbr-10-off.
    6. Verify that the correct contacts are selected and tagged.
    7. Return to the campaign interface.
    8. Click I've tagged the list.
    9. Confirm by clicking Yes, it's tagged.
Only contacts carrying the correct campaign tag will be enrolled in the campaign. Make sure the list is correct before confirming the launch.
Step 9: Confirm the Campaign Status
After the list is launched, the campaign will move to the final Status tab and show the status as Launched.
You can optionally click Open the automation to review the related workflow and its execution history.
How to Stop or Resume a Campaign
    Stop a Campaign
    1. Open the active campaign.
    2. Click Stop campaign.
    3. Confirm the action in the confirmation window.
The campaign status will change to Stopped. Stopping the campaign pauses the agent and unpublishes the automation, so in-progress sends stop. The contact list keeps its campaign tag. If required, remove the tag from the Contacts page.
    Resume a Campaign
    1. Open the main Campaigns dashboard.
    2. Find the stopped campaign.
    3. Click the Play icon or Resume option.
    4. Confirm the action in the confirmation window.
The campaign status will return to Launched. Contacts that were still waiting in the queue when the campaign was stopped are removed from that queue and will not be added back to the same campaign. If you want to contact them, create a new campaign.
