How to Integrate Zoho CRM with myCRMSIM

Overview
The Zoho CRM Integration allows you to connect your Zoho CRM account with myCRMSIM, synchronize contacts, and send messages directly from the Zoho CRM conversation interface.
This guide explains how to:
  • Connect Zoho CRM with myCRMSIM
  • Install the required myCRMSIM Extension
  • Install the myCRMSIM Connector
  • Activate a workspace for synchronization
  • Verify contact synchronization
  • Send and verify messages from Zoho CRM
Prerequisites
Before starting the integration, make sure you have the following:
  1. An active myCRMSIM account.
  2. A Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition account.
  3. Access to the Zoho CRM account with permission to install Marketplace extensions and authorize applications.
  4. At least one messaging device connected in myCRMSIM, such as a WhatsApp, Android, or iMessage device.
  5. The messaging device must be assigned to the required sub-account.
  6. A message route must be configured in Message Routing.
Important: Make sure you are logged in to the correct Zoho CRM account in the same browser before starting the integration.
Step 1: Connect Zoho CRM with myCRMSIM
  1. Log in to your myCRMSIM account.
  2. Go to Integrations from the left sidebar.
  3. Locate Zoho CRM.
  4. Click Connect.
  5. A Zoho authorization page will open.
  6. Review the requested permissions.
  7. Select:
    I allow myCRMSIM to access the above data from my Zoho account.
  8. Click Accept.
After authorization, you will be redirected back to myCRMSIM.
The Zoho CRM integration status should now show:
Setup Required
Step 2: Install the myCRMSIM Extension
  1. On the Zoho CRM integration page in myCRMSIM, click Manage.
  2. Select Install myCRMSIM Extension.
  3. The Zoho Marketplace page will open.
  4. Review and accept the Terms of Service.
  5. Authorize myCRMSIM when prompted.
  6. Click Continue.
  7. Select the required installation scope.
For organization-wide access, select:
Install for all users
  1. Click Confirm.
  2. Wait for the Extension Installation Status to reach 100%.
  3. Click Okay after the installation is completed.
The myCRMSIM Extension is now installed in your Zoho CRM account.
Step 3: Install the myCRMSIM Connector
  1. Return to the myCRMSIM Integrations page.
  2. Select Install myCRMSIM Connector.
  3. Review and accept the Terms of Service.
  4. Authorize myCRMSIM when prompted.
  5. Click Install Now.
  6. On the next screen, locate:
    Already have an account with myCRMSIM?
  7. Click Authorize next to this option.
  8. Sign in using your myCRMSIM account credentials.
  9. When the Authorize Application prompt appears, click Allow.
  10. Click Finish.
The myCRMSIM Connector is now connected to your myCRMSIM account.
Step 4: Select and Activate a Workspace
After installing both components, select the workspace you want to synchronize with Zoho CRM.
  1. Return to the Zoho CRM Integration page in myCRMSIM.
  2. Locate the Synced Workspaces section.
  3. Select the workspace you want to connect with Zoho CRM.
  4. Click Save & Activate.
  5. Confirm that the following message appears:
    Zoho sync activated
The selected workspace is now synchronized with Zoho CRM.
Step 5: Verify Contact Synchronization
After activating the workspace, create a test contact in Zoho CRM to verify that contact synchronization is working.
  1. Open Zoho CRM.
  2. Go to Contacts.
  3. Click Create Contact.
  4. Enter the contact's:
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Phone Number
  5. Make sure the phone number includes the country code.
    Example:
    +92XXXXXXXXXX
  6. Click Save.
  7. Open your myCRMSIM dashboard.
  8. Go to Contacts.
  9. Find the contact you created in Zoho CRM.
  10. Confirm that the contact appears in myCRMSIM.
  11. Verify that the contact shows the Zoho CRM integration indicator.
Expected Result
The contact created in Zoho CRM should appear in myCRMSIM and be linked to Zoho CRM.
Step 6: Verify Messaging from Zoho CRM
You can also send messages directly from the Zoho CRM conversation interface.
Before You Start
Make sure:
  • A messaging device is connected in myCRMSIM > Devices.
  • The device is assigned to the required sub-account.
  • Message Routing is configured.
  • A test contact is available in Zoho CRM.
Send a Test Message
  1. Open Zoho CRM.
  2. Go to Contacts.
  3. Open the synchronized test contact.
  4. Locate the Conversation section.
  5. Enter a test message.
  6. Click Send.
  7. Open myCRMSIM.
  8. Go to the myCRMSIM Conversations.
  9. Go to Message Logs.
  10. Locate the test message.
  11. Verify that its status is Sent.
Expected Result
The message should be successfully sent from the Zoho CRM Conversation section through myCRMSIM and should appear in myCRMSIM Message Logs with the status Sent.
Integration Completion Checklist

Troubleshooting
Zoho Authorization Page Does Not Open

Make sure you are logged in to the correct Zoho CRM account in the same browser.

If you are logged in to multiple Zoho accounts, sign out of the unnecessary accounts and try the integration again.
Integration Shows "Setup Required"

Make sure you have completed both installation steps:

  1. Install myCRMSIM Extension
  2. Install myCRMSIM Connector
After completing both steps, return to the integration page and verify the status.
Extension Installation Fails

Make sure you have the required permissions to install Zoho Marketplace extensions.

If you do not have administrator permissions, ask your Zoho CRM administrator to complete the installation.
Workspace Is Not Synchronizing

Go to the Zoho CRM integration page and check the Synced Workspaces section.

Select the required workspace and click Save & Activate.
Make sure the following confirmation appears:
Zoho sync activated
Contact Is Not Appearing in myCRMSIM

Check the following:

  • The contact was successfully saved in Zoho CRM.
  • The phone number includes the country code.
  • The correct workspace is activated.
  • Refresh the Contacts page in myCRMSIM.
Message Cannot Be Sent from Zoho CRM

Verify that:

  1. A messaging device is connected in myCRMSIM.
  2. The device is assigned to the correct sub-account.
  3. Message Routing is configured.
  4. The contact has a valid phone number.
Then try sending the message again.
Message Does Not Show as "Sent"

Open myCRMSIM > Message Logs and check the message status.

If the status is not Sent, verify the connected device, sub-account assignment, message routing, and recipient's phone number.
Important Notes
  • Zoho CRM Enterprise Edition is required.
  • Zoho CRM Free Trial cannot be used for this integration.
  • Always authorize the correct Zoho CRM account.
  • Make sure the required workspace is activated before testing synchronization.
  • For initial testing, use a test workspace and test contact before enabling the integration for production use.
  • Make sure the messaging device is connected and correctly assigned before testing outbound messaging.
