myCRMSIM Zapier Integration Guide

Overview

This guide provides step-by-step instructions for creating a Zap using the myCRMSIM  App in Zapier. 


In this workflow, Zapier listens for a New Inbound Message from myCRMSIM and automatically performs the Send Message action. 


This integration enables users to automate messaging workflows, such as instantly responding to incoming messages or sending follow-up messages through a selected communication channel.

Pre-requisites
Before you begin, make sure you have the following:
  • An active Zapier account
  • Access to the myCRMSIM App Version 2.0.0 in Zapier
  • A connected myCRMSIM account
  • A connected sub-account
  • The correct Location ID for the required sub-account
  • At least one connected device , such as:
    • Android
    • iMessage
    • WhatsApp
    • RCS
Procedure

1: Connect Zapier Integration in myCRMSIM

  1. Open your myCRMSIM dashboard.
  2. Go to Integrations.
  3. Scroll down to the Zapier integration section.
  4. Click the Connect button.
  5. A Zapier login/authorization window will open.
  6. Log in using your Zapier Google account.
  7. Complete the authorization process.
  8. After successful connection, return to myCRMSIM and confirm that Zapier shows as Connected.
✅ Zapier is now connected with myCRMSIM.
 

2: Create a Zap in Zapier

  • From the Zapier dashboard, click Create on the right side.
  • The Zap editor will open.
  • From here, you can configure:
    • Trigger
    • Action
  • ✅ You can now start creating Zapier workflows using myCRMSIM.
 
 
3. Set Up and Configure the Trigger
  • Click on the Trigger step.
  • Search for myCRMSIM .
  • Select the myCRMSIM Draft app Version 2.0.0.
  • In the setup panel, confirm the following:
    • App: Auto-filled
    • Trigger Event: Select New Inbound Message
  • Under Account, choose one of the following options:
    • Select an existing connected myCRMSIM account
    • Or click + Connect a New Account and complete the connection
  • Once the myCRMSIM account is connected, Zapier will automatically fetch the required Location ID from the connected account.
  • Click Continue.
  • Click Test Trigger.
  • After clicking Test Trigger, Zapier will fetch a sample message from myCRMSIM.
  • When you click on the sample message, Zapier will display the returned data.
  • The sample message data may include:
    • Message ID
    • Phone Number
    • Message Text
    • Message Type such as SMS, iMessage, or WhatsApp
    • Created Time
    • Location ID
  • Review the returned data carefully.
  • Click Continue to move to the next step.

    4. Set Up and Configure the Send Message Action
    • Click on the Action step
    • Search and select: myCRMSIM Draft app Version 2.0.0.
    In the setup panel:
      • Action Event: Select Send Message
      • Account: Select the connected account
      • Click Continue.

    In the Message Configure panel, enter the required details:

    • Phone Number – Recipient number
    • Message – Content to send
    • Location ID – Sub-account ID
    • Message Channel – Select SMS (or other available options)
    • Attachments (optional) – Add files if needed
    • Click Continue
     
    5. Test the Send Message Action
    • Review all entered details
    • Click Test Run or Test Step
    • If successful:
      • The message will be sent
      • A success confirmation will appear
     
    6. Publish and Rename the Zap
    • Click Publish (top-right corner)
    • Wait for confirmation
    Once published:
    • The Zap becomes active
    • Rename the Zap.
    • It will automatically run when a New Inbound Message is received
     

    7. Test the Created Zap

  • Send a new inbound message to myCRMSIM.
  • Once the inbound message is received, the created Zap will be triggered automatically.
  • The Zap will send the reply message that you configured in the Send Message action.
  • Check the conversation in myCRMSIM.

    8. View Zap History
    • To monitor performance:
      • Go to Zapier Dashboard → Zaps
      • Locate your Zap
      • Click the three-dot menu
      • Select View History
      You can review:
      • Trigger data
      • Action execution status
      • Message delivery details
      • Success or failure logs
     
    Verification
    After publishing, verify:
    • Trigger test returns correct inbound data
    • Location ID is accurate
    • Action test sends messages successfully
    • Correct message channel is selected
    • Zap is published and turned ON
    • Zap History shows successful runs
     
    Conclusion
