How to Set Up Verified Caller ID
Use Your Number for Outbound Calls in HighLevel
If you use myCRMSIM for SMS and make calls through HighLevel, you can verify an existing phone number and display it as your Caller ID for outbound calls.
For example, you can send SMS through myCRMSIM using your existing business number and make outbound calls that display the same number to the person you are calling.
Important: A verified caller ID is for outbound calls only. Incoming calls will still go to the phone that owns the verified number. If you need both inbound and outbound calls inside HighLevel, you will need to purchase a HighLevel/Lead Connector phone number.
- You are logged in to the correct HighLevel sub-account.
- You have access to the phone number you want to verify.
- The number can receive an automated verification call.
- You enter the number in international format, including the country code, for example +1 555 123 4567.
- In HighLevel, use the account switcher in the top-left corner.
- Search for and select the sub-account where you want to use the caller ID.

- Click Settings in the left-hand menu.
- Under Business Services, click Phone System.
- Select the Phone numbers tab at the top of the page.

- On the Manage Numbers page, click the Verified Caller IDs tab.
- Click + Add Number in the top-right corner.
- From the menu, select Add Verified Caller ID.

- In the Verify your number window, enter the phone number you want to use as your caller ID.
- Double-check that the country code and number are correct.
- Click Call me to verify.
- You will receive an automated call on that number. Answer the call and follow the verification instructions. If you are asked for a verification code, enter the code shown in HighLevel.
- Once verification is complete, the number will appear in the Verified Caller IDs tab.

- Return to Phone System → Phone numbers.
- Locate the HighLevel/Lead Connector number you use for calls.
- Click the three dots beside that number.
- Select Edit Configuration.
- Find the outbound caller-ID setting, then choose the option to use your Verified Caller ID for outbound calls.
- Select the verified number you just added.
- Click Save.

Feature | Result |
Outbound calls from the configured HighLevel number | Display your verified number as the caller ID. |
Incoming calls to your verified number | Continue to ring the phone that owns that number. |
SMS through myCRMSIM | Remain separate from this caller-ID setup. |
Android SIM calling through myCRMSIM | This setup does not turn the Android SIM into a HighLevel softphone. |
Inbound and outbound calls inside HighLevel | Requires a purchased HighLevel/Lead Connector phone number. |
Check that the number was entered with the correct country code and can receive normal voice calls. Make sure the phone has signal, is not in Do Not Disturb mode, and is not blocking unknown callers. Then wait a few minutes and try the verification again.
Confirm that you selected the verified number in the Edit Configuration settings for the exact HighLevel/Lead Connector number you are calling from. After saving, place a test call to a number you control.
This is expected for a verified caller ID. Verification changes the number displayed on outbound calls; it does not transfer or forward inbound calls into HighLevel.
Purchase and configure a HighLevel/Lead Connector phone number. The verified number can still be used as the displayed caller ID for outbound calls, subject to the configuration available in your sub-account.
