VM Drop + Random Split Test Multi Message

🧾 Objective: Set up a drip campaign that begins with a voicemail drop followed by a sequence of personalized SMS messages, using myCRMSIM, a verified landline, and a SIM-based SMS number to maintain continuity and increase engagement.

🔧 Prerequisites: -  A myCRMSIM account - A verified landline number for caller ID - A SIM card number for sending SMS - Access to LeadConnector (recommended) - Your unique offer details - MP3 recording of your voicemail - A custom conversational SMS messages

🪜 Step-by-Step Instructions

Step 1: Create Your Voicemail Drop

Write a voicemail script tailored to your offer. Example: "Hey, it’s {{your_name}} here from {{your_company}}. Just giving you a quick call to let you know about the amazing offer we’ve got on [Your Offer]. I’ll send you a quick text since I couldn’t catch you. Let me know if you’re interested – would love to chat!"

Record and save your voicemail as an MP3 file.

Upload the MP3 into your voicemail drop action in the workflow.

Step 2: Set Up Your Drip Campaign Workflow

Start the workflow with the Voicemail Drop action.

After the voicemail drop:

Add a Split Path action to distribute messages evenly.

Send your first SMS. Example:"Hey hey {{contact.first_name}}, it’s {{your_name}} here from {{your_company}} – just left you a voicemail."

Wait a few seconds, then follow up with a second message:

"I wanted to share this special offer with you – let me know if it sounds interesting 😊"

Customize and add 3–4 variants of your SMS messages for A/B testing and personalization.

Step 3: Get a Landline Number

Purchase a landline number (does not require A2P registration in the US).This number is used only for calling – it cannot send texts.

Step 4: Verify Caller ID with LeadConnector

Go to your LeadConnector settings.

Set the landline number as your verified caller ID.

Ensure your SIM number (used for sending SMS) is matched/verified with the same caller ID.

✅ This ensures call + text continuity – making it appear to the lead that both come from the same number.

Step 5: Set Up Call Handling

If you don’t want your SIM device to ring on callbacks:Set up call forwarding from the landline to a virtual number, voicemail inbox, or a call handler.

Step 6: Test the Workflow

Run a full test:Confirm the voicemail drops correctly.Ensure SMS follow-ups send on schedule.Check call display shows the correct number.Make sure replies and callbacks are routed properly.
