How to set call forwarding

With Your Carrier

You can normally set call forwarding with your carrier directly

How this is done will depend on the carrier you use and may in some cases incur a fee for any calls forwarded.

We suggest you contact your carrier directly and find out if it is possible and if there are any associated charges.

Directly on the Android Device

If you wish to set call forwarding on your android device you can do so by following these steps:

  1. Launch the Phone app.
  2. Tap on the three dots (top right)
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Scroll down to Supplementary Services.
  5. Select Call Forwarding.
  6. Select one of the Forward Calling options.
  7. Enter in the contact number that you would like the calls to be forwarded to. Once complete tap on the Enable button.

Alternative to Call Forwarding

If call forwarding is not an option because of cost or any other reason another option is to setup a voice mail on the phone using the following script:

"Hi, this is Company XYZ. This number is used exclusively for texting, if you would like us to call you back please send us an SMS or you can call us directly at our office on xxxxxxxx. Thank you"
