Connecting Multiple iMessage Numbers to a Single Sub-Account in HighLevel CRM

🚀 Overview

This SOP outlines the process of connecting multiple iMessage numbers to a single sub-account in HighLevel CRM.

This setup is beneficial if:

  • You want to assign different users their own iMessage number.

  • You want to increase your message sending volume across multiple devices.

✅ Prerequisites

Before beginning, ensure the following:

  1. iMessage Device Installed & Connected: Each iMessage number requires a separate device (iPhone, iPad, or Mac). Watch the iMessage Installation Video for guidance.

  2. Additional Users in Sub-Account: Each iMessage number must be assigned to a unique user. If you're using a second number for volume only, create a dummy user profile in your subaccount.

⚙️ Step-by-Step Setup1. Check Existing Devices
  • Navigate to Devices > iMessage.

  • Confirm you have:

    • One connected device already in use.

    • A second device installed but not yet assigned.

2. Assign Device to User
  • Go to Subaccount SIM.

  • Choose the target sub-account.

  • Click "+ To Add New Device".

  • Select the second user.

  • Select the second device.

  • Click "Assign".

This assigns the device to the selected user in the sub-account.

💬 How Messaging Works with Multiple Users▶️ Automated Messages via Workflows
  • If a lead is assigned to a specific user, messages will send from that user's assigned iMessage number.

  • If a lead is unassigned or assigned to a user without a number, messages will send from the default iMessage number.

✉️ Manual Messages from the Conversation Tab
  • Messages are sent from the number assigned to the logged-in user, not the lead's assigned user.

  • To send from the correct number:

    1. Log in as the correct user (assigned to the lead), OR

    2. Use the MultiSIM Message Override workflow from the myCRMSIM Snapshot.

🔄 Using the MultiSIM Message Override (Recommended)
  1. Install the myCRMSIM Snapshot.

  2. Use the MultiSIM Messaging Override workflow in the conversation tab.

  3. This ensures your manual messages are sent from the correct user-assigned iMessage number, even if you're logged in as another user.
