myCRMSIM SMS Installation & Setup

How to install and setup your myCRMSIM account

Part 1 - Integrating MyCRMSIM with Your HighLevel Account for SMS

⚠️ Note:
If a device is being used for **myCRMSIM SMS**, it cannot be used simultaneously for **myCRMSIM RCS**. Both services cannot run on the same device at the same time.

Guide for users step-by-step in integrating their HighLevel account with MyCRMSIM for SMS messaging services.

✅ Prerequisites

- An active MyCRMSIM account.
- Access to your HighLevel agency or sub-account.
- You must be logged in to the main HighLevel app (not your white-label domain).

Step 1: Log In to MyCRMSIM

- Visit MyCRMSIM dashboard and log in.
- You'll land on the Dashboard page.

Step 2: Connect Your HighLevel Account

1. Navigate to the **Integrations** tab.
2. Click **"Connect with Agency"** or **"Connect with Your Account"**.
   - If reconnecting, click **"Reconnect"** instead.
3. You will be redirected to the HighLevel Marketplace App.
4. **Important:** Ensure you're logged into `app.gohighlevel.com`, not just your white-label domain.

Step 3: Log in to HighLevel and Verify Your Identity

1.On the HighLevel login page, enter your HighLevel credentials and click Sign in.
2.You may be prompted to verify your identity with a security code.
  • Click Send Security Code.
  • Enter the OTP code sent to your registered email address.
  • Click Verify to proceed.
⚠️ Make sure you are logged in to app.gohighlevel.com, not your white-label domain. Using a white-label domain will cause the integration to fail.

Step 4: Authorise and Install the App

1. An Install Confirmation screen will appear showing the permissions requested by the myCRMSIM — SMS, Message & WhatsApp app.
2. Scroll to the bottom and click Next.
3. On the Select an account screen, choose your agency or location from the dropdown.
4. If you are an agency user:
  • Check "Install under all locations in [your agency name]"
  • Check "Enable automatic installation to future locations" — this ensures new sub-accounts are automatically connected going forward.
  • Click Proceed.
5. If you are on the $97 plan (3 sub-accounts):
  • Connect sub-accounts individually.
  • Repeat this integration process for each sub-account.

Step 5: Install Conversation Providers

- Choose **all conversation providers** when prompted (recommended).
- These include:
  - Android SMS
  - WhatsApp
  - iMessage

- All providers are white-labeled under **"My SMS Gateway App"** — clients will not see MyCRMSIM branding.
Step 6: Verify the Integration is Connected
1.You will be redirected back to the myCRMSIM dashboard.
2.Click Integrations in the left-hand menu.
3.The HighLevel card should now display a green Connected status.
Step 7: Sync and Connect Sub-Accounts
1.In the left-hand menu, click Subaccount SIM.
2.Click the Sync Locations button to pull the latest list of locations from your HighLevel account.
3.A list of available locations will appear. Use the search bar to find a specific location if needed.
4.Click the toggle switch next to the sub-account(s) you want to connect to turn them on.
5.A confirmation pop-up will appear — click Yes, Confirm.
6.A success message will briefly appear at the top of the screen.
7.Click Back to List to return to the sub-account list and confirm the location now shows as connected.
⚠️ Toggling a sub-account on does not change or override anything in your HighLevel account.
Step 8: Verify the Telephony Provider in HighLevel

1.Switch to your HighLevel account (open in a separate tab or log in at app.gohighlevel.com).
2.Go to Settings in the bottom-left navigation.
3.Click Phone System.
4.Click the Additional Settings tab.
5.Under Telephony Provider, verify that the Current Provider is set to:
"mySMS Gateway App — SMS, WhatsApp & Message"
and that it is marked as Default.

💡 This provider is set automatically during installation. If it is not showing, go back to Step 4 and reinstall the app.

Step 9: Connect Device in Dashboard

  1. Go to Devices > Android Devices.
  2. Click Add New Device.
  3. Scan QR Code or enter the token to Login.
    1. A QR code is displayed on screen — open the myCRMSIM app on your Android device and scan this QR code to log in.
    2. Alternatively, you can copy the Token shown below the QR code and use it to log in manually.
  4. Once connected:
    1. Name your device.
    2. Save.

Step 10: Open the SIM Assignment

  • Go to Subaccount SIM from the myCRMSIM dashboard.
  • Find the sub-account you want to configure.
  • In the SIM Card column, click the orange (+) button.
  • An Assign SIMs modal will open.

Step 11: Assign a Default SIM to the Sub-Account

At the top of the Assign SIMs modal, you will see the Workspace SIM field.
This is the default SIM for the sub-account.
  1. Click the Workspace SIM dropdown.
  2. Select the SIM you want to use as the default SIM.
  3. This SIM will be used for sending SMS from the sub-account by default.
  4. The default SIM is available to all users in the sub-account, unless a specific SIM is assigned to an individual user.
Note: Assigning a Workspace SIM does not mean the SIM is limited to one user. It acts as the default SIM for the entire sub-account.

Step 12: Assign SIMs to Specific and Multiple Users

You can assign different SIMs to multiple users within the same sub-account.
For example:
  • User 1 → SIM 1
  • User 2 → SIM 2
  • User 3 → SIM 3
To do this:
  1. Open the Assign SIMs modal.
  2. Click Assign new SIM.
  3. Select the first user and SIM.
  4. Click Assign.
  5. Repeat the same process for each additional user.
Each user can have their own SIM assignment.
Note: If a user does not have a specific SIM assigned, the Workspace SIM will remain the default SIM for that user.

Step 13: Default SIM vs. User-Specific SIM

There are two types of SIM assignments:
Workspace SIM
  • Assigned at the top of the modal.
  • Acts as the default SIM for the entire sub-account.
  • Can be used by all users who do not have a specific SIM assigned.
User SIM Assignment
  • Assigned to a specific user.
  • Allows different users to use different SIMs.
  • Overrides the default Workspace SIM for that user.
Example Setup
Suppose a sub-account has three users:
  • Workspace SIM: Jazz SIM
  • User A: Jazz SIM
  • User B: Zong SIM
  • User C: No specific SIM
The behavior will be:
  • User A → Jazz SIM because it is specifically assigned.
  • User B → Zong SIM because it is specifically assigned.
  • User C → Workspace Jazz SIM because no specific SIM is assigned.

Step 14: Set Up Message Routing

After assigning the SIM, open Message Routing for the sub-account.
Make sure SMS is selected if you want the assigned SIM to be used for SMS messaging.
You can configure the priority order based on your preferred messaging channels.
For example:
  • Primary – WhatsApp
  • Fallback 1 – iMessage
  • Fallback 2 – SMS
  • Fallback 3 – Optional
  • Last – Optional
Click Save to apply your routing configuration.

Step 15: Test Messaging

  • Send a test message from your CRM dashboard.
  • Confirm:
    • Message sends successfully ✅
    • Reply is received ✅

🎉 You're Done!

You have now:
✅ Logged in and connected myCRMSIM to your HighLevel account
✅ Authorised the app and selected conversation providers
✅ Synced and connected your sub-account locations
✅ Verified the telephony provider is correctly set in HighLevel

Next Step → Set up your Android for sending/receiving messages.
