iMessage Missed Call Trigger — Setup Guide

This guide explains how to create a HighLevel workflow that automatically sends an iMessage to a contact when they call your business number and the call is missed or not answered.

The workflow uses the myCRMSIM - SMS, iMessage & WhatsApp app in HighLevel. The missed call is detected by the Missed Call Trigger, and the automatic reply is sent using the Send iMessage action.
Important: The message is sent through your connected Mac/iMessage device, not through HighLevel's standard SMS provider.

⚡ Important: Download the Ready-Made Workflow Snapshot

To make the setup easier, you can download the pre-built HighLevel snapshot below.
👉 Download the iMessage Missed Call Trigger Snapshot
Once you download and import the snapshot into your HighLevel account, the iMessage Missed Call Trigger workflow will be created automatically, so you do not need to build the workflow from scratch.
After importing the snapshot, simply review the workflow settings, make sure your iMessage device and routing are configured correctly, and then publish the workflow.

If you want to create the workflow yourself, follow the steps below.

What You Will Build
The workflow follows this process:
Missed Call → Missed Call Trigger → Find Contact → Send iMessage
The workflow will:
  1. Detect a missed call.
  2. Find the caller's contact using the caller's phone number.
  3. Send an iMessage if the contact is found.
  4. End the workflow if no matching contact is found.

  1. A Mac device must be connected and active.
  2. The subaccount must have an iMessage device connected.
