Step-by-Step Guide to Connect RCS to Your myCRMSIM Account

This SOP outlines how to connect and integrate an RCS-enabled Android device to your myCRMSIM account for use with HighLevel CRM.

⚠️ Note:
If a device is being used for myCRMSIM RCS, it cannot be used simultaneously for myCRMSIM SMS. Both services cannot run on the same device at the same time.

Requirements

  1. Active myCRMSIM account
  2. Completed integration with HighLevel CRM
  3. Android smartphone with:

⚠️ Note: RCS works only on Android devices using Google Messages. iPhones are not supported for RCS.

💡 Once connected, RCS runs via a cloud connection. Your device needs to be kept on and connected to the internet at all times, and messages will continue to be sent and received via RCS (as long as the cloud session remains active).

Step 1: Connect myCRMSIM to HighLevel

1. Log in to your myCRMSIM dashboard.

2. Go to Integrations.

    3. If not connected:

    •  Follow the prompts to authorize.

      For Agency Plans:

      • Click Connect Agency.
      • Install under all locations.
      • Enable Automatic installation for future locations.

        For Starter / $97 Plan:

        • Connect sub-accounts individually.
        • Repeat integration for each location.
        • ✅ Once complete, you will see Integration Successful

        Step 2: Connect Sub-Accounts

        1. Go to Sub-Account SIMs.
        2. Click Connect Locations.
        3. Toggle ON the sub-accounts you want to enable.
        4. Click Confirm.

Agency users can enable all locations at once.
Starter plan users must connect individually.

Step 3: Before You Choose, Check Your Phone

⚠️ Before selecting a pairing option, open Google Messages on your phone and check which screen appears.

        1. Open the Google Messages app on your phone.
        2. Tap your profile icon in the top-right corner.
        3. Tap Device pairing.
        4. Check which screen opens on your phone:

        Option 1: QR Code Scanner

        • If your phone shows a QR code scanner, select: Pair with QR Code
        • Then scan the QR code shown in the dashboard to complete pairing.

Option 2: Google Account Sign-In / Emoji Screen

        • If your phone asks you to sign in with a Google account or shows an emoji confirmation screen, select: Sign in with Google Account (Emoji)
        • Then follow the Firefox RCS Cookie Bridge steps to complete pairing.

⚠️ Important: Choose the option that matches your phone screen. If you choose the wrong option, the pairing will not complete.

Step 4: Install the RCS Cookie Bridge Extension

        Firefox Required
⚠️ Firefox is required for this pairing method.
You must install Mozilla Firefox to use this method. It will not work in Chrome, Edge, Safari, Brave, Opera, or any other browser.

If Firefox is not installed, download it first from:
        mozilla.org/firefox
Then continue with the steps below.
        Install the Firefox Extension

Download the RCS Cookie Bridge Firefox extension ZIP from the provided link.
This ZIP file can be downloaded in any browser/window.

        1. Unzip / extract the downloaded file.
        2. Open a Firefox Private Window.
        3. In the Firefox Private Window, open a new tab and paste:
        4. Click Load Temporary Add-on...
        5. Select the extracted extension folder.
        6. Choose the manifest.json file inside the folder.
        7. Confirm that the extension appears as RCS Cookie Bridge.

⚠️ Important: Firefox temporary add-ons are removed when you close Firefox. You will need to load the extension again each time Firefox starts.

Step 5:  Allow the Extension in Private Browsing

        1. In the same Firefox Private Window, open a new tab and paste:

           2. Find RCS Cookie Bridge in the extensions list.

           3. Click the three-dot menu (⋯) next to it.

           4. Click Manage.

           5. Scroll down to Run in Private Windows.

           6. Select Allow.

           7. After installing and allowing the extension, hard-refresh this  dashboard page:

        • Windows: Ctrl + Shift + R
        • Mac: Cmd + Shift + R

Step 6: Sign in to Google Messages Web

        1. In the same Firefox Private Window, open a new tab and paste:
          https://messages.google.com/web/welcome
        2. Sign in with the same Google account that is currently signed in to the Google Messages app on your phone.

⚠️ Important: Use the same email and password as your phone’s Google Messages app. If you sign in with a different Google account, the pairing will not match your phone.

             3. Sign in only.
Do not follow any device-pairing screens that appear next.

Step 7: Continue Pairing in the Dashboard

          1. Once you are signed in to Google Messages Web, return to the Devices section in this dashboard.
          2. Click Continue with RCS.
          3. Select Immediate Connect to start the pairing.
          4. Wait until the device shows as successfully connected.
          5. After the device is connected, close the Firefox Private Window used for sign-in.

Step 8: Name and Assign the RCS Device

          1. In RCS Devices, locate your newly added device.
          2. Click Edit and assign a descriptive name (e.g., Sales RCS Android).
          3. Click Save.
          4. Go to Sub-Account SIMs.
          5. Under the RCS Column, select and attach your connected device.
          6. In Messaging Preference, choose:

            👉 RCS Only
This ensures all messages are routed via RCS.

Step 9: Configure RCS in HighLevel

            1. Log in to your HighLevel sub-account.
            2. Go to:

            • Settings > Phone Numbers > Additional Settings

                 3. Under Telephony Provider, select:

👉 My SMSGatewayApp – SMS, WhatsApp & iMessage

This enables RCS messaging inside workflows and manual messages.

Step 10: Sending Messages & Automations

              Manual Messages

              • Send RCS messages directly from contact conversations inside HighLevel.

              • Use the standard SMS provider (RCS will route automatically if configured as RCS Only).
              Automations
              • Use normal HighLevel SMS Actions.
              • RCS messages will send automatically if enabled.

No additional RCS plan inside HighLevel is required.
                myCRMSIM handles the delivery layer.

                Step 11: Test the Connection

                1. Go to Contacts in your HighLevel sub-account.
                2. Send a test message to an RCS-enabled Android number.
                3. Confirm:
                • ✅ Message shows as RCS (chat features enabled)
                • ✅ Message is delivered successfully
                • ✅ Reply is received in both mobile and HighLevel

If both sending and receiving work correctly, setup is complete 🎉

                    🎯 Best Practices

                    • Keep RCS (Chat Features) enabled in Google Messages.
                    • Ensure your Android device maintains stable internet connection.
                    • Avoid bulk spam messaging.
                    • Monitor device status inside myCRMSIM dashboard.
                    • Regularly check connection health.

                    🚀 Setup Complete

Your RCS device is now fully integrated with myCRMSIM and HighLevel, ready to send and receive rich messaging through the unified CRM dashboard.
