In some circumstances delivery and receipt of messages may work better with RCS disabled.
If you are busing an eSIM from another country to send and receive SMS over WIFI then you will need to have RCS switched on.
In order to change RCS:
- On your device, open Google Messages .
- At the top right, tap your profile picture or icon Messages settings.
- Tap RCS chats.
- Turn RCS chats on or off.
