Adding Multiple SIMS
How to use multi SIM and add more numbers
With our multi SIM function, you can add as many numbers as you want to a sub account and assign them to different users so you can spread the load of your SMS across multiple Sim cards.
This will allow you to send messages at a greater volume and faster as you are spreading the load across Sim cards to do this. You'll need to use a split to make sure that you evenly distribute your leads across different users within your CRM account.
Please see the video below for instructions on how to set up an additional Sim card and some options on how you can manage and distribute your leads to your users automatically.
How to Reply to Leads Correctly When Using Multiple SIM Cards in HighLevel
Default Number:
If a lead is NOT assigned to a user, OR
If the assigned user does NOT have a SIM card,
➔ Messages will be sent from the Default SIM Number.
Assigned SIM Number:
If a lead is assigned to a user who has a SIM card,
➔ Messages should be sent from that user’s SIM.
2. How to Reply Correctly
A. Check the Lead's Assignment
Confirm if the lead is assigned to a specific user.
If yes, and the user has an assigned SIM, you must reply as that user.
Use the "Login As" Function inside HighLevel.
Switch to the assigned user (the one whose SIM card matches the lead's previous messages).
Once logged in as the correct user, send your reply.
Messages will now be sent from the correct SIM card.
🚨 Important:
If you stay logged in under your own user account, messages will send from your assigned number (or the default number), potentially confusing the lead.
3. Managing Multiple Leads More Efficiently
If you're handling many users and messages:
Go to Conversations.
Click Filters.
Under Assigned To, select SMS.
Filter messages per user.
Stay logged in as one user while replying to all of their assigned messages.
Then, switch to the next user and repeat.
✅ This saves time and avoids manually checking each lead individually.
Key Reminders
Always log in as the correct user before replying.
Use filters in Conversations to group messages efficiently.
Messages will always send from the number linked to the account you are logged into at that moment.
Troubleshooting
If a message goes out from the wrong number, double-check:
The lead’s assigned user.
That you are logged in as that user.
That the user has a SIM card assigned.
Summary
For message consistency, always: ➡ Check the lead’s assigned user.
➡ Log in as the assigned user.
➡ Send the reply.
Using these steps will maintain a seamless conversation experience for your leads and ensure your multi-SIM system works properly.
